This is one of the new dresses I sewed for our Lady Leisaura, our Princess, at Captivenia. It was a somewhat labour-intensive dress—especially the sleeves. But I'm quite happy with it.
Alright let's look at the individual ratings I've given you.
For vision I've given you an easy 5 stars. This rating was well earned because its style is obvious and it looks clean. It doesn't look like a cheap costume this dress is legitimately tailored. It's beautiful, to put it mildly. Your vision of aristocratic grace is overt.
Next is originality, I've given you a 4. The reason I've only given you a 4 here is because it's a red and gold dress we've all seen.
Technique is 4.5. I struggled here between a 4.5 and a perfect 5 because you obviously know how to sew, you obviously understand color scheme, you planned it well, and the dress looks great. The problem arises with the length and arms. I think the dress might be a bit long in the front for its style, I can see anyone wearing it that isn't a giant having to constantly kick it out in order to keep from tripping over. As for the arms of the dress, that don't appear to be very contour friendly. Whoever wears this dress I guess is assumed to have very thin arms and is expected not to bend their elbows.
Also, and this had nothing to do with the rating, that specific fabric you used for the red is excruciating to wear on bear skin. I hope, for the of the girl you'r planning to dress, it has comfortable lining.
Now onto Impact, easy 5. It gorgeous, elegant, striking, dramatic... Anyone to wear it will be noticed. Let's hope the dress isn't too pretty as to take attention from the face.
This is really pretty! I came across it because I do some Medieval re-enactment / re-creation type stuff. We mainly focus on actual recreation patterns from historical finds, but nevertheless it caught my eye as it is very striking and I would totally wear it.
Hm, I don't know, actually—it all depends on what's available. Historically accurate.... Would you prefer if I looked for rough-spun (more natural-looking) materials? The dress will look different though.
By materials I mean such as cotton, silk those types that were mostly used i don't know what you used thats why i asked Was wondering if I could also choose a little different options on the dress but colour wise and style I want it as it is Was wondering if you have a facebook page or something where I can contact you faster please?
